Meditation and Conversation Group
In this 6 session program spread over 3 months, you will get the chance to explore the selected reading, reflect on its relevance to your lived experience and to commence and consolidate a regular meditation practice.
The book of choice for this upcoming conversation group is Dgizar Kontrul's book Training in Tenderness. In this book Dgizar shows us how to transform our attitude towards ourselves and those around us through the practice of tenderness. This is the guide to the building blocks of compassion and the purest and deepest form of happiness.

Venue : Wellness is Within - 2/18 Lake Street Varsity Lakes
Fee: $150 for the 6 session program. This includes a copy of the book and a workbook to support you over the three months
Format of the session: Each session will commence with a 10 minute meditation session that will then lead us into a discussion about the chapter/chapters for that session. Each session will also complete with a 10 minute meditation session as well. It is expected that each participant will have read the chapter/s for that session and be open to exploring what that might mean for you.

Session 2 - June 12 The Tender Heart is a Seed & The Tender Heart is Water ( Chapters 2 & 3)
Session 3 - June 26 Removing Impediments to Tsewa: The Mind in Crisis ( Chapter 4 )
Session 4 - July 10 Opening The Injured Heart & Clinging to the Self- The Root of All Impediments (Chapters 5 & 6)
Session 5 - July 24 The Fruit of Tenderness & Tsewa and Relationships ( Chapters 7 & 8)
Session 6 - August 7 Meeting Death With an Open Heart & The World and the Future (Chapters 9 &10)
